Concerns and Grievances
Anyone affected by our work can raise a concern with us. That includes research participants, partners, suppliers, investors, and members of the communities connected to our work.
How to raise a concern
Use the form below. You may write in any language, and you can leave the name and email fields blank if you’d prefer to stay anonymous. If you leave your email, we can follow up with you; if you don’t, we can’t reply directly. You can also write to us by post at Box 121, Slocan, BC V0G 2C0.
Submissions are read only by Sovereign's director and are kept confidential.
What happens next
- We will acknowledge your concern within 10 business days.
- The director will review it and may ask you for more information.
- We aim to respond with an outcome within 30 days, or tell you why more time is needed.
- If your concern involves the director personally, tell us, and we will arrange an independent review.
Our commitments to you
- We will not retaliate against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
- We will keep your identity confidential unless you agree otherwise or the law requires disclosure.
- We keep a record of every concern raised and how it was resolved, and we summarise these in our annual report.
