Sovereign is committed to developing its products with a low environmental and ecological impact.

Where we are
Sovereign is an early-stage research company with no premises, no manufacturing and no employees. Most of our footprint comes from air travel for research and from shipping research materials.

What we will do

1. Reduce. Group research trips together and choose lower-impact shipping where it’s practical.
2. Plan the future footprint. Choose cultivation and production methods with low ecological impact, including growing the plant in regions that don’t need irrigation or clearing of native forest.
3. Report. Report on these actions in our annual report.

We will review this plan each year and set formal targets as we start operating at scale.
